Overwhelming Response!

Well, as you can see by the numerous comments and the "KISS-esque" army of followers (you rock, Dave) the response to our new quorum blog has been... uh... well... alot like our home teaching numbers. As I pondered on this lackluster participation, I came up with a list. 

Possible reasons why guys aren't participating in our blog:

1- Our blog needs some really great background music--The Bishop suggested anything from Michael Bolton.

2- Guys are waiting for gratuitous bikini clad pics--sorry, I don't think anyone in our quorum would look good in a bikini--(...maybe Kirk)

3- We haven't talked enough sports yet…

4- ....

Let me know if you can think of any other reasons.

Draper Temple Dedication

The draper temple dedication took place yesterday afternoon. Unfortunately I was unable to attend. I heard many positive things about it as they got reactions from members on the news last night. I would like to know what members of our quorum thought about it. Was it testimony building? What about it was most interesting to you?

Welcome to our Elders Quorum blog!

It seems everybody is using technology to communicate with each other these days. I figured if blogging was good enough for my "kin" up in the Ozarks to swap possum recipes, it was time our Elders Quorum had a blog to keep each other updated on Quorum info, news, and activities. As a presidency, we hope this blog helps build more unity and friendship in our quorum. We encourage all our elders to check this blog regularly and share your thoughts about home teaching, testimony, hobbies, sports, ...or even any good possum recipes.
